Registered Massage Therapist

In Balance Massage Therapy is currently seeking a qualified individual to cover a maternity leave beginning Nov 2022. Below you will find the information for the clinic and the position. If you or someone you know is interested, please email the clinic owners at contact.ibmt@gmail.com

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and team oriented RMT who is in good standing with the CMTO. Preference will be given to those with a few years’ experience but new grads are welcome to apply!

The ideal candidate has a minimum 3-5 years experience and is able to cover a minimum of 2 days a week and up to 5 days per week. Current hours the clients are used to are: 4 days/week from 9:30am - 4pm and 2 Saturdays a month from 9am - 2pm. This is preferred but not required. Rent for the room will be based on the number of days worked in a week. The current RMT has 22 yrs experience, and treats 20-25 clients per week, is booked 6-8 weeks in advanced, clients ages are 16 - 90 years old with a range of relaxation, sports injury and therapeutic treatments.

The coverage will run Nov 14th 2022 – March 31st 2023. (a possibility to start sooner depending how pregnancy and work life go)

In Balance Massage Therapy is a very busy multidisciplinary clinic in the Northend of St.Catharines and offers Osteopathic Manual Therapy and Registered Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine on top of having 8 Registered Massage Therapists on their team.

- Adjustable stool
- Table/room cleaner/hand sanitizer

The successful candidate will be required to provide their own personal medical masks and any personal practice tools or supplies they require.

Duties:
- Take care of scheduling and rebooking own clients
- Welcoming clients into the clinic
- Cashing own clients out
- Direct billing for clients with insurance coverage
- Covid protocols
- The office runs as a team, without a receptionist, so everyone shares in answering the phone and taking bookings for each other.
